On my wife's Vibe the EQ always changes when you switch stations or go back and forth between the radio and the CDs. She will set it up how she likes it for a station and when she changes stations the EQ changes as well. I looked in the owner's manual and didn't see any info on this. Thanks for any help you can give!Dennis
When you program a station into the radio, it saves the current EQ settings with that station. So when you set a station, if you have full bass on, it will always turn full bass on for that station, even if you change the EQ settings while on another station. This allows you to automatically recall specific EQ settings based on the type of station you're saving. I.E. full bass for rock station, minimal bass, extra treble for talk radio, etc.To change the EQ for a particular memory preset:* Tune to the station you want to program.* Set your desired EQ settings.* Save the EQ to 1-5 position by: -Holding down the EQ button until it says "Select EQ #" -Rotate the station-select knob to choose a position, 1-5 -Hold down EQ again until it says "EQ Saved"* Reprogram the radio button with the current station and the new EQ settings.* You should be all set!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
