Time for new tires...again

30,000 miles ago I purchased some General Altimax HP tires. All 4 of them are now legally bald. They hopefully will honor the 55,000 mile warranty on them. I know there are some others out there who are using this tire. Has anyone else had problems with them wearing out quickly? Are they good enough to get again or should I get the $ back from them and get something else?

At 45,000 my OEM front Goodyears were done. The rears still looked 1/2 tread. I bought 2 new for the front, next time around they should all need replacing at the same time. I'd be hard pressed to buy anything else.

It's a prorated warranty... they might give you $10/tire credit.I vote: Get something else!

Got the new ones on today. Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring. We'll see if they last any longer.

i'll be dammed. i figured everyone who ever experienced the stock RSA's would just cross Goodyear off their list completely. or did you buy yours used and miss out on all the fun?

I missed out on the RSA's. I've read all about them. We'll see how this goes.
