Fresh Air/Recirculate control

I have noticed that the fresh air/recirculate does not work very well on my '07 Vibe. When I put it on recirculate I can still smell bad outside smells pretty easily. Other cars I've had pretty much block everything out. Anyone else noticed this on their Vibes?

Yeah.. When I first got mine it did a really good job of keep almost all of the smell out.. now.. doesn't work, almost no difference between recirculate and fresh air. It has been the same since I replaced the air filter. Worst when going through smoke, or skunk! YUCK!

Same here. I just bought another Vibe last Friday, an '08, I'll have to see if it is the same.
