Old Roof Rails on 2010 vibe

I have a 2010 vibe, and I have an "all parts access" to a 2003 vibe. I would love to replace the useless facotry roof rack on the 2010 with the rails from the 2003...question is, is the roof line on the redesigned 2010 vibe the same as the 2003? Would such a swap be possible? Any insight is appreciated.Thanks!

Yes it is possible, but would be extremely expensive. The body is completely different and would require a lot of custom work.

Thanks for the reply - well, I guess I will look to more a creative, and less expensive, way of getting my canoe back on my car. There are some changes on the new body style that I am not a fan of (like the "lip" to get stuff in and out of the trunk...I really liked how you could slide stuff right and out on the original design).

The factory rack should be able to support a canoe. If you don't like that option, I know that Thule and Yakima make racks for the '10.
