I don't think they did on mine. When I got in my car after, the door panels were coated with some sort of film, like they let some solution just drip all the way down. Least they could do is wipe that crap off for the money they charge...

all they do is glue the film to your window. they do it from the inside so if you have an stickers on the inside those will have to come off.

I was not too happy with the job LA Tint in Sterling, VA did, especially for the cost.

Justin, your signature says you have windows tinted at "28% rear/50% front" Does that mean that you front windows are almost twice as dark as the rear ones? Does that include the windshield?

So, in the rear only 28% of the light makes it through the window and in front 50% comes through. Got it?

OK, I never had windows tinted after the fact, so never knew how they put a number on it. I guess I was thinking it was 0 = no tint, 100 = opaque. It would look weird to have lighter windows in the back, which is why I asked. Thanks for the quick answer

actually the do not " glue" the tint to the window. They use a mixture of dish soap and water to adhere the film to the window. They do not remove anything to install tint.

Those drips suck... had them all over my dash and door panels and rear hatch. Worth it for the tint though!

The guys that did mine removed the rear window to get the tint under the plastic circles covering the bolts that hold teh windo on. Also the rear wiper assy. and third brake light.Still had crappy little bubbles along a couple defroster lines.
