New SRI installed!

Post by patmanbbe »

Just installed my new SRI from Comso which I bought from MaxxVibe here on the forum. I had a few minor issues lol. The instructions were almost useless, skipped steps and lacked details. There was also an extra hose with connector welded to the new intake that had no where to go. I hooked up the hose to the intake and plugged the opposite end without cutting the hose just in case lol. It said it was meant to rpleace a EGR connection from the old airbox to the EGR system, but I examined the airbox very carefully and found no such hose. No check engine lights or error codes so I wont worry about it. After the test drive I was happy with the product! Nice improvement in throttle response and I feel a bit more power before the high speed cam. Engine sound is amazing, sounds great. Despite the minor challenges its a great kit.

Sweet good to know lol! Just got back from a quick drive to and from McDonalds and I asked my daughter: "Does that sound cool or what?" She replied: "or what" lol. She is three. I love it so its all good!Pics to come when its light out! Also is the air filter included with the kit a dry or wet filter? It came with two and one is clearly marked on the side of the filter as a Dry Filter. Just curious about the other one as it is not marked. Thanks guys.
