i recently saw where someone had described how, but searching for 'grille' or 'remove' on this site is like looking for a needle in a haystack

I'd love to get good photo or diagram of what needs to be pulled to get the grill(e)s out of my 06. Awesome links keithvibe, great written out description from binary, lots of dead-linked pics though. But if I'm learning correctly, if there's no photo it didn't happen? Although there's no getting around AKLGT's pink grill(e)s, that most certainly happened.

But the kicker is it's not an actual screw that holds anything LOL

yeah im still getting nowhere with them. would it be a terrible idea to just very generously and carefully tape up the bumper and back side of the grilles with paper and paint them while still on the car?

you could always drill out the center then pry them out... I've had to do this now and again. Then till you get new ones to replace them, zipties work wonders... FYI you can find replacements in any autoparts store

When I took off my front grill a few months ago all I remember doing is inserting a screwdriver into the slot (see picture with arrow) and pulling out the center piece. This in turn allows you to just pull out the rest since it is the center piece that pushes out the other parts.
