New (used) Vibe owner, becoming an enthusiast!

Post by Crabbycrab »

Hi all,I just bought a 2006 base Abyss, and I love it more every day. Then I found GenVibe and now my eyes have been burning from a week-long forum reading binge. I love how you guys love your Vibes like I love mine. Now to just start upgrading from base...Would anyone happen to have Raginfish's pdf of his Hella Supertone horn install? TIA and Hi again,Crabby

Welcome Crabby and congrats on your purchase! Your forum moniker reminds me of those old Honda Element commercials with the crab.Sorry, don't know about the horn...

Isn't that the name of the restaurant Sponge Bob works at? My wife would know better than I. Are you in New England? *edit* Ah, now I see you are in BC. Nevermind. I just thought with the name... New England seemed like a natural.Anyway YES, welcome aboard CC!!They are not fast, but fun and practical little econoboxes that are quite addicting, as is this site.As already stated, post up some pics. Also go register in the Abyss section and use the registry and garage areas to keep track of your progress.Best of luck, and again, Welcome to GenVibe!

Welcome, from a fellow 2006 Abyss owner. And when you post pictures, also put them on the Team Abyss thread. Page 4 is calling: http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...age=4

Welcome to GenVibe. We're a pretty friendly group here, especially compared to other automotive forums I've visited. The members and the moderators here do their best to keep things fun and friendly.

My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

Welcome, nice to have another '06 Abyss on board! The hellas I bought had some pretty simple/straight-forward directions with them, you could probably pull it off pretty easily without the instructions.

Well, I was close anyway. I don't pay much attention to it, but my wife is a big SpongeBob fan, thanks to her grandson who is not so little any more. Hence the SpongeBob licence plate surrounds on her Vibe that I fought against and lost. That must get boring for you. Didn't they only make about 20 episodes? It seems like every time it's on they are the same episodes over and over... and as I'd said, I don't really pay much attention to it.

Hard to believe, but there are 291 episodes so far. Some are rather hilarious - Roller Cowards and Battle for Bikini Bottom being two of my favorites. We don't let them watch everyday, so it hasn't gotten old...yet.
