Thank you to everyone on GenVibe. I'm picking up my used (new to me) 2004 base vibe this weekend, and I have been scouring this forum for information and tips that may be useful, and have not been disappointed.Your experience and knowledge have made me confident in my purchase, and certain that I will be happy with the car.Above all, you have been kind and courteous to each other and newbies like me. Thanks again.

WOW!! Nice first post, and way to suck up too. j/kYeah, this place can be addictive, whether you are a "car guy" or not. It's nice to know how others see us when scouting the forum. Our Vibe is actually my wife's car but I do the work and pay the bills so here I am too!! Congrats on the purchase. A GenVibe requirement is to post pictures or SOMEONE will at some point say to you, It didn't happen!!Let us know how things are working out, and be sure to start a garage, register your Vibe and post in your correct color thread too. (Frosty, Abyss, Lava, Neptune, etc....) I'm sure one of us, or a Mod can help you find those threads when you're ready.

I'm flying out to Ill to pick it up and drive it back (I'm getting it through family) so I should get picks when I get there (the hood was repainted for me - due to chips)

Hi there and welcome! Yeah, the members of this forum are so knowledgeable - I'm really glad I found this place! Like others said before me, it's a great place for Vibe owners, drivers, and fans!Quote, originally posted by TONY TAT2 »Hi neighbor ! at least ya beat washen off the road salt, I gota get to it this weekend on the daily's since the temps will be pushen 60 deg.Doubt winter is over tho.Despite the warm weekend, NBC is calling for some snow showers on Tuesday according to the website, at least in the Southeastern PA area. And I was so glad to roll my windows down to get some fresh air for the past two days...
