Ok, I'm thinkin that since I couldn't get the Sport Package for my car, I may wanna do some other mods instead. I'm asking everyone to post some ideas or things they'd like to see. Any suggestions welcome. And audiovibe, I looked into baggin the car, but I think I'll end up spending over $1,000 on it, so it's out of the question...for NOW anyways. My current ideas are Drilled/Slotted Rotors Rear Drum-to-Disc Conversion New Brake Calipers (front only) Strut Tower Brace (if anyone is selling one let me know) Ultimate Retrofit projectors Having leather stitched into the seats down the center (White of course) Red LED Underbody Lighting Roof Caps (roof rack removed)
Not fans of the underglow, huh?I'm not too sure about it either.I don't plan on doing ALL the stuff on that list, just a couple things. You two got any ideas?

Underglows were cool in 2002. You don't own a Honda, my friend. Underglow = RiceAs for ideas, beef up your suspension with some front and rear sway bars to get rid of the insane amount of body roll that is the Vibe. If you don't have decent springs, get some. The Tein S are pretty good. Upgrade the exhaust. i recommend the Magnaflow. add an intake. do things that will actually improve the car's handling or performance or you are just another all show and no go. Besides, you got those big heavy wheels on the car, you need some extra oomph to help offset the added weight.
I don't mind it being all show tho....call me crazy, but I like sticking to the aesthetic mods. Never been a go-fast fan. I like comfort and looks. And I do like the idea of exhaust, but I think I'd rather just get a nice tip welded in place of mine, while it would sound nice, I feel it may get aggravating at times when I want quiet.
Brandon, I call dibs on your cross bars and hardware to secure them. That is, if they come off cleanly. I know it can be a b@tch to get them off. Price? Shipping to 48073? I don't need the rails that they slide in, just the cross bars. And, that's if you even decide to take them off. Gettin' a little ahead of myself... Also, I'd hold onto your current calipers. You did a nice job of painting them. Maybe go after the retrofits, like you listed. Keithvibe will give a thumbs-up to that. And, so will I

I'm thinkin I'll get roof caps and paint em black. And maybe keep the calipers, but get new pretty rotorsAnd then I'll do the Ultimate Retrofit projectors, if he offers a more blue-ish bulb. Maybe 8500k?
..........darn, I was going to say buy a nitrous kit.........On the other hand, I would put the roof rack caps on the top of the list. Very subtle but effective at the same time.

Why the whole suspension?? I would assume that would be no different to get the rear brakes. Just take all the brakes from the rear and make sure you get the brake lines and the backing plate also lots of guys are doing it on newcelica between the two models. Look there for info should be very simaler set ups
so then the backing place and ABS systems are right for the discs. except, you'd have to changge out the brake lines and get rid of stuff like the metering and proprtional valves that keep the discs from activating before the drums.
Ok I stand corrected. Abs changes things I suppose wasent thinking of that I don't have it myself and never have so I really don't know anything about it
How about getting some stuff hydro dipped. You could get everything wrapped in money or the ed hardy skulls on all the dash pieces, there is a pink laptop in the samples pages to show to show the skulls. http://www.tvhydrodip.com/samples.htmlHe is an acquaintance of mine and is on the cheap. If you contact him just tell him Aron sent you.
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
well i'm learning all this stuff right now in auto tech class. had to learn all about front disc/rear drum set-ups. there's metering valves and stuff to keep them equal. the rear brake line would need to be replaced, which would come from the wrecked GT.

I couldn't have said it better myself!!I think I LOVE you!!This Babe knows her STUFF, Man!! Pardon the intended pun, but I live with a woman that doesn't know and couldn't care less and it is sometimes very frustrating. Your post is, to say the LEAST.... VERY refreshing coming from a woman. (I also hope this doesn't come across a sexist, because it is not intended that way.) No underglow. Bad move and outdated, as AKL stated.Brake rotors, well.... if you are not racing the car, you do not need the best, but be prepared for additional brake noise. (I have cross-drilled rotors on my Mazda3 and was surprised by the noise at first.)New calipers: I assume you are talking about bigger calipers with additional pistons that cost an arm and leg? If so, don't bother, unless going for track time. The only thing(s) you will get are slightly cooler rotors under extreme braking and a much thinner wallet.Strut tower brace: There is one currently FS in the FS section here, I am not good w/brand names but it appears to be a very well braced triangulated unit that might offer additional strut support... under heavy cornering.UR retrofit: If wanting HID's, it's the only way to go, but as even Keith says, pricey.Rear disc conversion: Could be a problem physically, and you are not liable to notice any difference from the driver's seat, but I would do it anyway. Remember please that re-biasing the front to rear braking will be required.
