Has anyone used a unichip in their vibe?

Just wondering I'm considering purchasing a unichip for my 06 vibe 5 speed fwd has anyone tried it out and of so how did u like and do u know how much it increased in hp, torque, or even gas consumption?

it's also not easily tunable. Requires you to send it in for a tune or go to someone who is a Unichip tuner. After playing with various ECM systems, I would never opt for one like the Unichip again. If you can't tune it yourself or at least add maps or change parameters at your own computer, it's a waste.

I installed mine back in April of 06 (and modded it when going FI) and have really enjoyed it. I was looking for something to improve the overall driveability for my day-to-day commute and the Unichip filled that bill perfectly for me. If potential, tuneable, horsepower is your primary goal, other brands, eg e-manage etc would be better. Here is a quick assessment based on my own experience:Pros = 20 minute PnP installation, Passes the IL Emmissions test, Can easily remove it if Warranty Repairs are required, improved performance across the entire RPM range, slight MPG gain if keeping my foot out of it. Cons = Need to have certified shop/dealer tune it (So a good idea to add mods like CAI, exhaust first), Does not offer as much overall HP gains as some other ECU's, Have fun with whatever you go with.
