and it sounds 10x better even with the factory speakers in. the way it mounts looks cool and the installation kit added me another little storage slotthe speaker adjusted well to the extra watts from the poineer cd player, and welcomed it nicelymaybe i can get a pic soonGreg
Congrads!Any issue with the airbags?Did you install it yourself or did you have a tech do it?Also, does the system have any antitheft devices or cover?Would love to see the pic-B
Good to know it went well and more importantly, sounds good!I'm looking at replacing mine with either the Panasonic CQ-HR1083U or the Kenwood (forget the model) because they both have RCA inputs for my iPod and the display color is configurable so I can get it to match the red of the rest of the interior.
I want to eventually replace my factory HU, but only with another in-dash multi-disk changer. I don't know, maybe I'll just have to upgrade my amp to keep its functionality.
quote:I don't know, maybe I'll just have to upgrade my amp to keep its functionality. That's what I did. I like the convenience of the 6 disc in dash changer but hated the sound. I installed new speakers in all 4 doors and added a 5 channel amp w/ an 8" solobaric sub in a ported box. 200% better! from the looks of it, it appears factory so no temptation to break in and rip it out.
quote:Any issue with the airbags?Wow......does that bring back memories.... This issue has been researched, and no, the stock radio DOES NOT have anything to do with the airbags.
