Just ported and polished my TB!

Post by 666ws6 »

I took my TB off to do the coolant bypass and decided to port and polish the TB as well. I figured any little bit helps.... but I didn't expect to really feel any difference... But the car is certainly more responsive! The Vibe idles different right now until the car learns the change. I also removed the screen leading into the intake as well... trying to free up anything which may limit airflow. There was quite a nice parting line on the TB so I ground that away and then took a little off all over... then I slowly polished it all down to smooth finish.Just sharing.

My Vibe learned it after about 5 starts and the idle is back to normal. Stills feels better for throttle response. I plan on adding in the TB spacer soon, so I will take some snap shots then.
