The Final Word From Injen !!!

Post by retiredfields »

If you followed my previous post:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5136I called Injen today and spoke with one of the managers, Ron. My CAI had not been shipped, due to an "administrative error". He asked where I bought it and I told him adventon.com. He said they are not an authorized dealer, he doesn't know where they are getting his products, and warned me to be cautious about them selling repackaged items. He suggested I return the CAI to Adventon and get a refund.I asked him to 2nd day air me the correct CAI, since Injen had now screwed up twice, and he said the best he could do was 3rd day air. Pretty poor customer support!!Fortunately, I haven't paid my credit card bill yet, so I will contest the charge by Adventon. From the tone in Ron's voice, I would suggest NOT buying any Injen products from Adventon.

Though I already received my CAI several months ago, good to know adventon is NOT a better deal, even though the price is lower!

I'm not sure what is going on with Adventon. I bought my Injen intake, engine covers and oil cap through them with not problems at all. I'm sorry to hear that you had so many troubles. I may have to reconsider ordering anything from Adventon again if they are giving a fellow member any problems.

Silver you better not be hitting the pipe again! Thanks for the heads up again. Silverawd26 mention this to me a couple months ago. When members IM me about buying a CAI, I send them to Ptuning.
