gardening nude

Post by joatmon »

found a chicago viber's blog called "Gardening Nude" subtitled Shawna Coronado Gives Tips for Living a Green Lifestyle, Saving Money, and Making a DifferenceIn this entry she's got a bunch of pictures that belong in our the vibe can haul thread, including one of a piano in a vibe and she says "In the 20 years I have owned cars, I have always dreamed of owning an electric or hybrid car like a Prius, but have never been able to afford one. My family car is a 2006 Pontiac Vibe - my favorite vehicle I have ever owned - with wonderful gas mileage."

Hi Joatmon and new Vibe-loving friends -YEP - this is my blog. I love my Vibe and was heart broken when they took them off the assembly lines. I have hauled EVERYTHING - the full sized piano probably being the largest thing. And love it!!Thanks for including me here!Shawnahttp://www.shawnacoronado.com

Welcome to GenVibe, Shawna! If you wish, you can register your Vibe (see: Registry @ the top of any page) or post some pics, or just converse with us all here.I think my wife could use some of your advice on gardening though. She has a large vegetable garden, several apple trees that are a few yrs old now and currently not producing, and citrus tress/bushes as well, but is having a hard time adjusting to planting in the hot Texas weather. What she has chosen to grow here takes a lot of work and/or money to keep them growing and not freezing in the winter. The yields over the years have been less than stellar.

Welcome to GenVibe Shawna! I see you're in Warrenville. Hopefully us Chicagoland GenVibers will have another meet this spring and you'll be able to make it out to it. We always enjoy meeting new Vibe owners, especially ones as enthusiastic as you !

Wow - you guys really know your Vibes. Yep - my car has a sun roof and electric but that year they did not have leather seats as an option we could choose yet. SO - I had my ride pimped!! I wanted (removed) warmers (must keep my fanny nice and toasty - ba ha ha ha ha ha) and bottom warmers only come with leather seats. Instead of buying a more expensive car, we just purchased the Vibe and had leather seats and bottom warmers added as an extra.Did I tell you I loved my car? I LOVE MY CAR!And my (removed) is always warm!Shawna

Thanks for the bumper sticker idea - unfortunately as a professional writer my income is pretty slim right now. I do more than gardening for those of you who were mentioning it - although I use gardening as a great tool to teach people how to feed the hungry (and themselves). If any of you are on facebook you can find me at http://www.facebook.com/shawnacoronado - friend me up and we can stay in touch that way too! Thanks again for all the friendliness!Shawna

Welcome! Looking at your tips, I noticed that you are a perfect fit for ecomodder.com! Over there people modify their cars in ways so they can get the best fuel economy they can. I've done a few things to my Vibe, and there is at least one other with a Vibe, and another with a Matrix. Take a look, and maybe say hi!http://www.ecomodder.com

Musta' been a rare and expensive (for a Vibe) option.Frankly, I'm not that crazy about leather in my own car. I had a Volvo (red leather) and an MGB Roadster (black leather) years ago with it and it was nothing but trouble. Hot in the summer, like a brick in the winter and a constant maintenance problem. I always had to worry about the top being down on the MG should the weather get bad. Now that I live in Texas where summer heat can be 112* at times, I don't want any part of it. Cloth is hot enough.
