Spark Plug Wires?

Due to change spark plugs on my 2005 Vibe with 125k mi for the 1st time. Not to sound stupid, but are there spark plug wires? Ive read some forums about "coils". Do these "coils" need to be changed or wires if they exist? Also, any perferance on spark plug types?

Take care when you remove them. In 125,000 mile they could get stuck on the plug. There is a tool to remove them.
