installing a new cd/mp3 player

I am a girl seeking step by step instructions for removing my factory stereo and replacing it with the new JVC stereo. Any help would be appreciated.. I have an automatic 2006 pontiac vibe.

ok I have it all ready, harness, the dash kit, and all the speaker wires, the red and the yellow ones connected, but I am left over with 2 blue wires (one of them is for the antanna) and 2 orange wires!! HELP

Congrats on the stereo! Blue = Power antenna wireBlue/White = Amplifier turn onOrange = DimmerOrange/Gray = IlluminationI might have the illumination and dimmer wires backwards.You just forgot one thing, you gotta post pics. Once the mob sees this they never forgive.
