clicking noise from rear

Post by chevelle_lover »

I just recently noticed that under moderate or heavy braking there is a clicking noise coming from the rear of the Vibe. I pulled the back wheels off and did not notice anything unusual. I am out of ideas as what it might be. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Can you feel the pedal pulse? Maybe you have a bad ABS sensor?

No abs and no pulsation in the pedal. The car does not pull either and the brakes do not feel any differently.

is it a single click from each side or constant?

They were repeated clicks during braking. I took it to my mechanic and the drums were slightly out of round. I think it may have been due to me ditching the car about a month ago. He machined then then 30.00 later it was all good.

No worries. I have been wanting to do a disc swap for a while now just have been lacking the time to do it. After the repair we put 3800 km on the car in a week. Not a single click.
