How to repair/hide damage to the passanger door?

Post by Chill Penguin »

I'm gonna sound like an idiot describing this, b/c I don't know the correct terminology, but here I go:You know that thin, hard rubber thingy on all foor doors? The thing that is there to prevent damage to the car door itself when another careless person parks too close and hits their door into yours?Well, my three-day-old Vibe now has that rubber thingy damage, and it is driving me crazy. It is tough to see since the damage is pretty small, and the car is black, so no one is going to notice. But I know it is there, and I want it repaired or hidden. Is there a way to do this? Some sort of substance to fill in the hole? Some touch-up paint?

Touch up paint and rubbing compound works... I have had to do that on several occations, park at the back of the lot and some moron is parked right beside you when you get out.... I know the feeling....
