Anyone know how to make a cloth cargo security shade?

I just bought a 2007 Vibe. I'm fairly handy with a sewing machine. Does anyone have a pattern or instructions on how to make a cloth security shade? GM charges way too much for one, and I'm having trouble finding one from a general auto parts dealer.

Soft covers were available from the dealer, they were cheap flimsy pieces that simply clipped onto the tie-down rings on the sides of the cargo area. Did not fully cover the cargo bay and left much to be desired. There is no roll-out and lock type of cover as you see in say a Jeep Liberty or other type of vehicle.Therefore I just created my own hard cover. 2005 Matrix XR AWD but same dimensions as the 07 Vibe.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=37700
