Rear Axle oil seal help

Hello, new member here, sorry to barge in with an immediate question but here goes:'03 Vibe, AWD model. The rear diff is leaking around the passenger side axle. None of the major parts stores can find this part, nor have I had any luck with online shopping. I REALLY am trying to avoid dealerships as past experience has not given me much confidence in their parts counter. I've found an online resource with the shop manual PDF, but that doesn't give me part #s or specifications. If I even had the seal specs or Timken part number, I could buy it directly from Timken through my employer if necessary. Does anyone know where to find this part number or specifications?Thanks for any help.Lou Chrzanowski

Lou,Make your way down to a Toyota Dealer and see if they offer these parts separately. The Toyota Matrix 4WD and the Pontiac Vibe AWD are the same vehicles... I am pretty certain that Toyota has that part for the AWD Vibe.... One thing you will need to know though before going into get the seal is that there were 2 different case differentials that were in production on the 1st year of the AWD Pontiac Vibes... Manufactured before of 11/2002 and manufactured after 11/2002 I believe. Hope this helps...
