Non-Vibe Wiring Help Needed ASAP!

Post by VforVIBE »

So the wiring in my Trans AM looks... bad. Is this beyond repair for someone who knows little about wiring? Do I need to take this someplace? If this is something I can fix, what do I have to do?Not bad looking from the outside...After I opened her up...One of the speakers...

Fix it.. Time and patience like Audio said.. Start with one wire. get the Chiltons manual or Haynes.. Get wiring diag... On one wire, just take it back till it's clean, label it and extend it... MAKE SURE THE LABEL is permanent.. Solder on a length of wire.. What would be better is for you to get a common GM harness connector and wire that in.. Then you could use a reverse harness for the car, like any other.. AFA the speakers, run new proper wire out to them, be done with that mess... I've seen/fixed FAR too many of these..
