Meet in July

I should be there sometime between 8-8:30 but don't think I can stay long. I forgot about plans I had (I think it's that male disease)it's easier that way so we can keep track and get an estimate on how many cars will be there.... right now I'm in the process of talking to some of the performance shops around durham to see if it is something they would be interested in, either donating something or setting up a little booth on site for people to browse.

I'll be at HQ sometime around 12 have a few things to setup,,, btw does anyone have or have access to any DJ equipment? would be nice to pipe in there some music, not only that if we are giving out prizes it would be nice to have a mic for people to hear usThink I have started a fight with someone from Michigan,,,, I posted in there that we were having a meet etc... and they responded that us canadians have to follow the americans and have a meet on the same day yadda yadda yadda, so I responded with hey we may be second to start something but at least we do it better lol ooops!

Has anyone confimed that the parking lot will be available. I ask because that is the same weekend that AUTOFEST is going to be held in Oshawa, and I know that they hold some of the events in the same parking lot at GM. For AUTOFEST see http://www.canadianrodder.comOther than that sounds like you guys and gals are going to be having a great event and I am looking forward to attending

I'm soooo sorry it wasn't the rain that scared me off,,, the Vibe got sick and needed a doctor.... The car was in the shop the serpintine belt snapped on me Friday so I didn't get the car back until this morning. it's feeling much better now though.... I'm sure we can arrange to meet somewhere during the week to get the flyers to ya!

got it will take care of that today or tomorrow,, Welll I heard back from GM, it looks like they have a car show on that weekend,,,, figures... they may be re-routing us to another parking lot or we might have to find another spot, (behind GM or something) cuz it's too late to change things I already have several flyers out there.

Where did you get your hood deflector from?Regardless if we are behind or infront of the GM HQ, is the date and time set? Because then I will advertise on other sites. Let me know ASAP. Thanks Tim.

oh for sure this is happening on the 23rd of August and it will be around GM,,, No choice there. too many flyers out already.

I don't think it should be a problem fo us on Saturday, but GM's big Autofest car show is the next day, the 24th. They shoo all the vehicles off the parking lots on Friday night, and on Sunday morning close off the road and bus people to the site.

I think moving it to another GM building in the area would be a great Idea.... wouldn't even have to change the flyers,,, just need a couple BIG signs saying This way etc....
