I still have my flag outside as always. But I put out the small flags along the garden edge in front of the house as well.

What branches were they in?

both in the army.dad was fortunate, didn't have to fight in any warsMy brother did serve in operation Irac freedom. He did a year and a half over there. Then was killed in a car accident on his way home from his required one month training requirements for the army... Go figure.

Sorry about your brother. Patton was also killed in a car accident.

I blame the army and him.. he was on his way home and from the required training and the police report said he either fell asleep at the wheel or reached to pick something up off the floor board and lost control.I think he fell asleep because the day before it happened I talked to him on the phone and he was telling me all the things he was doing and from what it sounded like he was sleep deprived. 20/20 hindsight, things could have went different, but it happened and just like everything else you find a way to cope and go on with your life.
