PCM 07 VIBE

Post by TMAC1 »

Pulled out of garage last thursday and got less than a half mile from the house and blue shut off. After a couple of minutesit started and ran for about another minute an shut off. Towed it to the GM dealer and showed him my recall paper. They said they were unaware of a recall. Service writer finally called me back the next day around three and said it was the PCM and they had one in stock. Could not believe they had one. He said that when I get the next recall letter that says parts are available to bring it back so they can make sure the PCM they put in is the updated one. Vibe is back on the road and running like brand new,

Only hassle was getting wrecker to get it there. Glad it was covered under warranty. That bill would probably have been ugly.
