Yeah. It's too freakign simple for most of you guys, but I'm not a grease monkey, and I don't get it! How do I change the bulb on my tail light? Do I have to remove that entire plastic covering in the storage area? For realzies? My hands are too big to just slip into the space in that tiny storage bin. Thanks for your help. Feel free to make wise cracks. I have tough skin, but help a guy out! Thanks!
you can remove the whole taillight if you can't fit your hand through the cubby hole.there's 3 screws that you have to remove - just have someone help you remove the bulbs while the assembly comes out.if it helps - here's some shots of the taillights removedhttp://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=35965

MInes a little different, I think. The picture looks like the cubby hole can be taken out all by itself, whereas it does not appear anything less then the whole, what, interior quarter panel(?) has to be removed. My hands are not making it around teh corners to reach down around the light at all.
I have big hands too, and I've done both, I think it's easier to change the bulbs than to remove the entire tail light assembly. At least it's easier to remove the tail light assembly if you unhook the lights first. The bulb sockets come off the inside of the tail light assembly with a quarter turn counter clockwise.
