Vibe hood ornament

Post by bodhi_tree777 »

I'm having a hypothetical conversation with the wife.. we drove by an old Packard sedan the other day (complete with awesome swan hood ornament) and we got to wondering what a similar (or any) type of ornament might look on the Vibe. It may be hideous, I dunno, but does anyone feel like taking a stab at photoshopping this onto a Vibe? :D

Or maybe a Pontiac one, if you want to keep it in the family..

The old hood ornamants look awesome for the time period....but I think it would be out of place on the Vibe.

agreed. a hood ornament, in my opinion, should follow the "curve" scheme of the car. for example, the slim and tall grille continues flowing through the swan...if that makes sense.

yeah t's HAVE to be something with hard lines IMO, but I think with JUST the right one...it COULD look good. And as for the photo editing, I have no clue as to how I would put that on a Vibe. I haven't done anything like that yet

I haven't done anything like that yet Just find a Vibe photo (or go take a photo) from the EXACT same angle as the ornament you want to photoshop, then cut and paste and play with the shadows/lighting.

I think the ornament should be Chief Pontiac with a knife stuck in his back, since GM killed him.
