Anybody know what this is ? its been in my car ever since i bought it and it has always had a riped off cable clamped to it.

Looks like a switch to a light on the underside of the hood.

Yeah that might be it. I found an after marlet alarm speaker near the back of the engine. I guess its safe to remove. Thanxs guys
