Throttle Body on 03 Vibe GT
My Vibe has 113k on it. The bushing is worn that the throttle body blade rides in. That allows the throttle body to stick on occassion and also to idle way too fast on others.Has anyone replaced the bushing? I went to the dealer but he says one must purchase the entire throttle body for 1100 bux. I just laughed. Anyone else experienced this? Anyone got a spare they would sell? I am thinking I can knock that bushing out if I can get one to replace it with.Dan

The vibe and matrix service info I have just treat the throttle body as a single part, don't offer any overhaul/repair instructions, just remove and replace.http://www.car-part.com doesn't show any within about 500 miles of dexter, but maybe one of the yards that do list them will ship. Prices listed run $100 - $200Some places may not list out parts to that level. The closest yard that lists a GT engine is in Maury City TN, maybe they will sell you the throttle body off it
