Post by BlueCrush »

Buying a nice winter set-up locally for me Vibe: 15"x7" Black Drag DR-17 w/ 205/60/15 Hankook IPikes w/only 2,000 miles on them. Can't wait for the snow to start flying (especially since it was 95F today...lol)

very nice. I wish my winter wheels looked that good. In fact, my winter wheels look suspiciously like my summer wheels. Which look like crap

What a great find! So tomorrow you'll read in the MPLS papers about somebody's Corolla that was stored for the summer being found up on cinderblocks with no wheels! With a good lawyer, the perp will probably be out by the time the snow flies! LOL

That's a lot of lug nuts on your car!!!!What is this, one wheel fits all possible bolt patterns!?!?!One wonders if the strength of the hub is at all compromised by all of those holes.Other than that thought, great find!Dave

I had 38 yrs of Pennsylvania snow and ice before I moved to Texas. I remember the first snow storms where everybody forgot to slow down and there were accidents everywhere. And as winter wore on, how people got better and better about driving in it.I remember that first beautiful snow fall, and spending all morning (or day) shoveling it out of the driveway. Then how it turned to brown mucky slush as time wore on.I remember the rusted sheet metal on cars from road salt and having that afore told slush and ice attaching itself to the sides and underneath of the car... usually to the point of not being able to get it off before it caused irreparable damage.I remember ice storms that caused 6-8 inches of rough ice on the roads that took weeks to go away... driving @ 30-40mph on roads who's speed limit was usually 55-65mph.Oh yes, my friend, I know it well and am very glad to be away from most of that. I don't miss it at all.
