The belt listed for both of my Vibes is a six groove belt that is 72.5" long. Checking my parts inventory I happen to have on hand a six groove belt that is 73.5". I do not need to replace a belt at this time. However, I was wondering if anyone here has enough experience with this to advise me as to whether I can use the belt I have without any problems.
The belt in your inventory is too long, need to stick with the exact measurements, especially since belts tend to stretch over time. My thoughts, if you were to put that belt on, it would not stay on.

Cut out an inch and use Krazy Glue to put it back together - I hear that stuff holds 2 tons.
