Hi there,I just bought a used 2004 Pontiac VIbe with a factory CD player. Unfortunately the CD player wasn't working, as the previous owner said there was at least one CD stuck in the player, and possibly two. I managed to a CD out with tweezers and a butter knife with tape on it (with info I gleaned from the web - good or bad, I did it), and I don't think there was another CD stuck in there. Now when I put a CD in the player now it accepts it (which it wasn't doing before) but after a few seconds it just spits it back out. I'm not really sure what else to do, so any help with my situation would be greatly appreciated!Thank you.
Other than it being the wrong type of CD i dont know why it would reject it, however that would take a few seconds for the drive to read the disk and realize its the wrong type.

Thanks for the advice. I actually got it to work.I put the CD in, and before it spit it back out I repeatedly pressed the Fast Forward button, and after a couple times doing this it read the CD. Weird I know, but it worked. Thanks again.
Does it work as normal now? I used to repair CD players, not factory ones, but similar none the less.. That is kinda odd that hitting the FF button would kick it off, but if it worked, SWEET..!!
Surprisingly it has been working fine for a couple months now. I don't get it or understand why, but I'm pretty happy about it, ha.Thanks for the reply.
