Hello Genvibers,After doing some basic research on the web, I have basically come back to where I began by not finding any definitive answers. I wanted to know if the Fujita CAI was better/worse/the same as the Cosmo CAI or vice versa. There were no relevant reviews on the Fujita for a Matrix or Vibe. As far at the Cosmo, the reviews were mixed...loved it or hated it, don't buy or must buy, it's great or it's garbage, etc. etc.The main difference I have found is the price difference: $138.50 for the Cosmo vs. $251.10 for the Fujita. (A side note, I called Fujita and asked if the CAI they sell for the '08 Matrix would fit my '08 Vibe and they said it would.)After looking at many of the Vibes on this forum, I have found that the Cosmo CAI is the preferred. Does anyone have any experience with the Fujita? Does the Cosmo work just fine? Is the Fujita worth the extra coin?I'm not expecting anyone to have dyno tested the two systems and all that jazz. I would just like to hear some opinions and input about the subject. The CAI would be for my '08 Vibe base model. Thanks yall!

thanks for the advice everyone!as an interesting turn of events, i went to my local tuner shop to see if they could get a CAI cheaper than i could. after asking some questions and answering theirs, they urged me to get the SRI.they very politely explained that since i live in South Florida and so near the coast (land is low & flat and drains slow) the rains and runoff wind up messing with the CAIs. they told me how countless "kids from the area" keep coming in with screwed up, hydrolocked CAIs and how they need work done engine wise. i asked about using the hydroshield and about the splash guard on the Vibes. again they told me that those things just don't cut it around here. they both seemed glad that i listened to their advice because they said these "kids" never listen and wind up bringing their cars in for repairs and whining about it. basically just what you said, waveresponder. on the drive home, i was thinking about the convo we had and thought of the areas that flood near me and between my home and work. i think i will take their advice and get the SRI based on the mini-lakes that spring up around here following an afternoon thundershower.the couple who own and run the shop were very straightforward and seemed concerned with me getting my ride the way i want it but also doing the job right. they explained that the SRI will not give as much benefit as the CAI (which i already knew) but also said it's cheaper (which i knew as well).they are also eager to help me with anything i need assistance with and are willing to give advice and pointers too.i'm glad i went there! they have a new customer for anything i need done that i can't do by myself.their shop is pretty sweet too. they had so many toyotas parked out front. they specialize in supras but say they know toyotas very well.but again, thanks for the advice and the great picture of Cosmo! i suppose ill be gettin the Cosmo SRI.
