Nice ride girl Too bad one of your parents don't make the trip to Indy, then us 09/10 Vibe GT's could take over the meet We'll have to compare LED mods after it gets dark. I'm working on another one and hope to get it done before the meet

Thanks for the nice comments guys and gals! Quote, originally posted by tpollauf »We'll have to compare LED mods after it gets dark. Your brake light LED mod is amazing and I can't wait to see it!I hope the 9005 LED bulbs arrive before the Indy meet (on backorder, ugh). I don't want to disable the DRLs but at the same time I want something that will compliment the HIDs well. The stock yellowish bulbs just aren't doing it for me.

Updated the first post with a pic of my new LED DRL bulbs installed. I'm very happy with them. Not only are they super bright, they match the HIDs perfectly (no more yellow!)

I can't remember if I asked you this in Indy or not... did you re-adjust your headlights at all after installing the HIDs? I am curious because I'm going to be ordering some for our Vibes soon and I know when you were behind me heading back to the hotel from B Dubs they weren't blinding me or anything so I was just curious . Thanks!

Okay, I guess I won't worry about adjusting our headlights then because like I said, you were behind me in Indy and they weren't bad at all (Michelle's headlights actually seemed brighter ). I'm actually going to get the 4500k because I want something a little closer to the color of a regular halogen bulb. I don't want to mess with having to change all the other bulbs (license plate, reverse lights, interior lights) to match. And there will actually be two more '09 GTs with HIDs since I'll be getting them for mine and my mom's !
