and +50hp During lift transition: http://www.newcelica.org/forum...ge=12 (see the latest dyno and videos at the bottom of page 12)I'm sure a few people on here have been following the developments. There will also be a new 1ZZ intake manifold designed this year as well. Pretty cool for those who want to stay N/A and get the most out of their engines. 200+hp will no longer be the holy grail of 2zz owners. it will be come the norm. They have a group buy for the first 10 people that filled up on NC for $400 deposit and the balance of $450 when complete (60-90 days later) So $850 for the group buy price. SO it will be $1000 for everyone else from now on. Well worth it if you ask me.

Ohhhh, I want that very badly, those are some significant numbers. It would be nice to chirp second...
'04 lava GTSRI, Progress rear sway bar, Infinity reference backs, components in the front, Infinity Kappa 124.7w sub, Alphasonik 600rms@2ohms for the sub, alpine head unit, worst paint ever!
I was on there when he first announce IM development. Man took a couple years but wow look at those gains! Back then he mentioned a 1zz IM probably wouldnt do much so it would only be looked at after the 2zz was done. lol wow 1 bolt on giving more gains than all other bolt ons combined hahha awesome.
Tempting to be sure, but now isn't the time for me to spend money like that. Maybe in the exchange rate gets better for me I'll consider it
Would you agree to debris acceptance? 2003 Vibe GTMods installed GM Top and Mid-Gate Spoilers, Cosmo CAI, TWM Short Shifter with Desert Eagle weighted shift knob, TWM Bronzoil Shifter Cable Bushings, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust, Unichip, Injen Billet Aluminum Engine/Sparkplug covers and oil cap, Optima RedTop Battery, Lineage Ground Wire KitAwaiting install: Energy Suspension Motor Mounts, DC Sports Header
Wow, just saw the photos of the completed intake! Looks great, however once the Q45 TB is installed I'm not sure how existing CAIs are going to work.I've read earlier that thinner radiator fan unit and relocating the coolant reservoir will be needed as well. No small project for sure. I'm really charged up about the idea non the less

30-50whp from a manifold? Sorry to be the naysaying azzhole that i always am, but cmon!Thats total bullcrap. After reading that thread I wouldn't trust a ounce of a word that guy says.I want to see a real dyno chart of a stock 2ZZ gaining 30-50whp (or even 15) from that manifold alone....oh wait you won't b/c you will need a fully built engine w/cams pistons possibly overbore, porting, massive throttle body along with the proper fuel management before you see those kind of numbers. It sure is purdy though...

these products always make me chuckle. On a STOCK engine this size i would be quite surprised if it made 10-15hp more. My other car has a 6.1L motor. With a fully ported and polished intake we only see 15-20 hp max with a tune to compliment it on a motor 3x the size. Manifolds like this for a stock motor are just ridiculous. Maybe if your motor is fully built it would be worth it but that is the only time you'd get any real difference out of it.
