New person checking in!

I haven't taken the chance yet to introduce myself. I currently own a 2003 red vibe purchased in 2006. I absolutely adore that car! I lucked out when I got it because it was around 24k on the odometer. It's around 74k now. It hasn't been without it's little issues here and there, of course. A/C went out last year during the delightful Florida summer! I am currently working out a stereo issue as well. Otherwise, it has been the most versatile and comfortable car I have owned. I previously had a 1990 Ford Tempo and a 1997 Saturn SL. With a 6'4" tall husband, the Vibe has been our most loved mode of transportation. I can also fit my brother, his wife and their 2 kids in car seats when needed. I had to rescue him once when they were stranded along I-75. I couldn't have done it in my other vehicles quite so efficiently. I also haven't had to borrow anyone's truck to help me move! I'm pleased to see such a large, informative forum for one of the best cars I've ever experienced. I look forward to being a member and enjoying the company of other Vibe owners.

Hello welcome to Genvibe!! Yeah lets see the pics of the vib! I just recently started thinking that we should all call our vibes vibs! one of them would just be a vib. A pontiac vib. Isn't that the best idea ever!!

My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

hi there and welcome! As a 6'2 guy, I can also chime in about how deceptively roomy the car is. Plus, it certainly was great in helping my friend move...she was impressed!I have a 2003 Vibe as well and for the most part it has been treating me well!Watch out for that mod bug that's buzzing around. It bites HARD. I have decals on the way and was thinking about new wheels and a short ram intake...I didn't even know what a short ram intake was before I got here!There's a lot of good people and information here - I hope you enjoy it! I can't wait to see the pics of your vibe!
