I assure everyone that this photo, taken at my home in the month of July is very real and has not been tampered with in any way. I decade this photo to any one that has complained about the cold. Happy viewings!

I know the feeling. I'll have to get a picture of the high temps that we get at my office. Highest I've seen so far has been 116 (and it gets below 0 during the winter).

Pray tell, why in the world would I be jealous of your temperature readings!!?!?!I abhor the South, mainly because of the temperatures and humidity levels that you experience on an almost continuous basis.I did live in Miami for one very long and very horrible year so I know of what I speak.I'm a Northern Yankee, born and bred and proud of it. Give me my freezing winters and temperate summers, Fall and yes, Spring! I've got all the seasons up here, you only have faux seasons where if you are observant you can see subtle changes in the world around you.Enjoy your heat!! (though I speak this after completing the 2nd warmest July on Record.....It was HORRIBLE!!!)If it wasn't for the marvel of air conditioning the South would still be swamps and uninhabited expanses of shrub and pine trees like it was still back in the 50's and 60's.Silly Southerners!! (or maybe, silly snow birds)Dave

And it will LITERALLY be 30* one day then 70* the next. Those days confuse me and I die of sinus issues.

You're in CHICAGO!! The WINDY city, known for its biting cold, harsh weather and rain. You expect different somehow?!?!My part of NJ isn't too far removed from the back country of upstate NY or Vermont, rolling hills, farms, narrow twisting roads and temperate temperatures. Jersey isn't what is depicted on those reality shows that feature obnoxious transplanted New Yorkers as "Jersey". Makes me want to laugh one minute and cry the next!!Dave

I was mostly commenting on our lack of spring and fall seasons, having only burning hot humid summer and bitter cold winters. Or, more realistically, our two seasons are... winter, and construction.

Well, lately it's been destructive tornadoes but that's another matter. We've now become "Watch the sky country" instead of "big sky country". Normally by now we've hit well into the triple-digits, but so far we have yet to break the mid 90s. Wonder if that will last?

Envy me during your cold winters, but not during the summer, for a black car with dark charcoal leather is not fun.I enjoy the warmth of Florida yes, but no I do not appreciate the heat.I myself am a miss placed New Yorker, it was not my choice to move to Florida, or away from all of my family. I miss the hills and mountains of upstate New York. And please don't mistake the title of this thread, it is all in good fun.
