I recently purchased a pair of Polk DBs for the front & wow they sound FANTASTIC!!! I still have the stock M&T head unit & im using the factory tweeters. Great imaging & separation even with the factory tweets.When I drove to a relatives wedding 12hrs away, I had a chance to actually sit in the back seat of my Vibe & hear the stereo.Sheeesh it sounded terrible!!!....I still have the factory paper speakers & without tweeters above the woofer, the separation was horrible. Sounded like the sound was coming from the floorboard lol.At one time I didnt understand why people would buy component sysytems, but now I see the light !!! I was going to replace the rears with another pair of Polk DBs, but I would really like to splurge & buy the Polk DB db6501 component system.Any one have these in thier car???
