Cabin filter area noise, 03 Vibe.
Hi all, new member here, hopefully somebody has some advise: Noticed a rhythmic noise coming from behind glove box. Sound can only be heard from interior. Upon inspection behind glove box found that it was coming from the area where the cabin filter is. There is a felt type filter that is mounted up above cabin filter that shakes along with the clicking sound, but can not find source of problem. Any ideas?

Welcome!!!If you are talking about the "filter" that is above the door to the cabin filter and mounted on a slight angle, that isn't a filter but rather is the recirculate door for the cabin air. The "felt" is actually a foam seal.This door has a motor on it which is well documented for it's noise and repairs.here are two to get you started...http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id ... =24332Dave
