Well, that's all it is really. "Mk" meaning generartion. It retains the smooth styling from the 4th generation Golf, but is actually a little bigger, and has even smoother lines.Look for a Mk 4 golf picture, you can really see the differences then.

i dont really think the vibe looks too good sorry i definitly didnt buy it for the looks, i bought my GT because its sporty yet very practical, and its got a very good engine, and for the good price.

Geo,Thanks for showing me that picture. I haven't seen this vehicle before! I think you have a point. It would be a good contender to the Vibe. I still think that the Vibe looks better but there is a certain quality that the VW's have that make them look quite nice. In fact the other car I looked at was the GTI VR6.Shadow Realm

I use to be a vDud-er (both air and h20 cooled). Looks Sweet! BTW: have yuo seen the next gen passat? it too is looking good, to bad they dropped the w-8 form the engine line-up
