Yeah, I am thinking of the cobra too. After looking at them some more I think I like it and it will be more comfortable. I have a friend that has a Lancer Evolution and it has the Momo Race Shifter and it is real small and would seem to be hard to use after a while on the road.

Here's my un-educated choice... Cobra.Mainly because it looks better, I've never been a huge fan of the ball-looking shifters.

I had a Race knob first and didn't quite like it. I bought the Momo Color Sphere and have been a lot happier with it. It is a little larger than the Race series. Here is a pic:

I'd try to find the TRD golfball-sized shifter knob...it's quite a slick little piece. I like the race series, but it's too big. My favorite shifter is the one we just used in our '55 2 door post. It's the B&M Pro Bandit. SO NICE! Minus the graphic...
QUOTE ATWORK "Okay, I'm looking at that picture and can't figure it out... does this go inside the dash trim and get a regular shifter knob, or do you use that vice-grip looking thing to shift ? (in a straight line, rather than in the usual H sort of pattern?) It looks VERY manly, but a bit complex !"That shifter is for automatic vehicles so your straight line is correct. Yes it can also be used as a 3 or 4 speed shifter but very annoying. Only made for cars that go in a straight line. I have one on my muscle car and it is an auotmatic.
Just here to lend a hand to people who have questions about their Vibe.
