electric fan out causing vibe to shake all over and die
My 05' Vibe.. will die is sitting and running even for 10 minutes. Then when you try to start it back it idles funny shakes all over and dies again. If you turn it off and let it sit for a little bit, it starts right back up fine. If you don't start moving asap it will start doing it all over again. The repair man said it was the electric fan and it would cost $359.00 I was wondering does anyone know anything about this, has this happened to anyone else?Thanks for your time!

unplug the fan it's one connection to verify. sound wrong to me but thats one place to start

If he is referring to your cooling fan I'd spring for that new fan pronto!If it doesn't come on, the engine will overheat and get so hot that it stops running. This can do all sorts of SERIOUS damage to your engine. Oil overheats and bearings fail, Coolant pressure builds up and hurts the radiator or hoses, head gaskets can fail, the head can warp, intake manifold gaskets can fail, etc.FIX IT ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dave
