Good Bye and Thanks!

Post by PhillyVibeGT »

I know it has been ages since I have been on this board and I know that many will not know who I am but I just wanted to say good bye and thanks to those I have meet and that have helped me out with questions over the years. I have ordered a 2010 WRX and it should be delivered sometime next month. I tried very hard to stay in the Pontiac family, I was looking to purchase a G8 GT but it did not work out as all the dealerships in my area turned into (almost overnight) used car lots and all "new" G8s were shipped elsewhere leaving me the option to buy used but could not get the deal I was looking for. This is a great site with many wonderful people, I wish you all the best of luck in the future.

Just because you don't have the vibe anymore doesn't mean that you can't still come by here. Good luck with the new ride.

Thanks everyone! The WRX will be a five door so I can get my goalie (ice hockey) equipment in it. As for it being a 2010 I found out, after the fact, that the dealer missed the order date for 2010 so I will have one of the first 2011's. I will post pics, etc when I get her in June.

Love that car. Love it. Guy around the corner from me has a black one with black rims that have, not gonna lie, like 20 skinny spokes or something insane. I can hear his exhaust from two blocks away, and I think it's stock. If you had to leave the Vibe, this (IMO) is more than an acceptable replacement. Keep the pics coming. I know this thread is going to light up now that we have the first photo!

Thanks, she is very quiet with the stock exhaust but I will leave it that way for a year or so. The rims are very nice, they have a smoked finish on them and they are PAIN to clean with the amount of spokes and the little grooves that are on every other spoke.
