auto tranny O/D lite problem.

anyone have any issues with the"overdrive off"light not appearing. i pushed the little button on the side of the selector and it does not appear. it does seem that is is in overdrive though.

bulb or fuse could be burned out. not sure on what fuse it would use. but many have the shifting light burn out.

When pressing the button, does the overdrive actually shut off (RPM's will increase drastically at high speeds) or does it remain the same? If it does drop into 3rd then you have a problem with the indicator (which being an LED I wouldn't think it would be burned out...)If it does not change, I would start with either a bad connection at the shifter switch or perhaps the switch itself is bad.
