cablemonkey - 2004 base FWD/auto Shadow

Post by cablemonkey »

Soon-to-be-mine Vibe: 2004 base FWD/auto Shadow. A few scuff marks and a dead battery (so far), hopefully nothing else.

I just have to wait for the estate processing to run its course. I need to post a few pics of the scrapes and paint chips over on autopia, see if they might be repairable through a good detailing. I'm still working on getting the dog smell out too (baking soda and a good vacuuming got it half way there), which is another reason to look into a good initial detailing.

Wow! It must have been kept in that garage in the pic! Great Vibe, and welcome to the nut house.

Actually, it won't fit in that garage. I put a wall up about 10' back to split it into a workshop in front and an office in back.I gotta say, it's quite frustrating to have it sitting in my driveway when I can't legally drive it yet. As pending executor of the estate, my dad's the only one who can, and he's across the country in WA until Sept helping my sister renovate her house. Once the will is approved and he's recognized as the executor, then I can finally buy it. Until then, I shouldn't even drive it to a mechanic for a good inspection. Patience grasshopper, my @#!. At least i can familiarize myself with it though, and work on the few things i'm capable of.BTW, thanks for the warm welcome . Reading the forums, I've already learned more about this car than I've known about my integra after 10 years of owning it.
