As my Vibe has just rached 75,000 miles on the ticker, it's time for a new set of brakes in the front. I was thinking about going with a set of Wagner rotors and Wagner ceramic pads (both with a lifetime warranty) from Advance Auto. Has anyone used these before? They are having a sale this weekend if you purchase more than $100 online, you get 15% off your order. Sounds like a good deal to me. Any opinions? Thanks in advance!

I've been driving with new Wagner Thermoquiet front pads and rear shoes for a week and like them a lot. I also replaced my warped rotors with Proven Quality brand rotors and they're working great with the ceramic pads. No more wheel shudder when braking at 60+ mph!
My son just put EBC rotors and pads on... Love the brakes now. Huge difference between his 05 and my 08. Feels like I have baby buggy brakes on my Vibe, compared to the massive amount of non ABS braking he can now generate. We both have non ABS brakes.I'm, sold. And this is what they look like...
'08 Manual, Sun&Sound, 17" Borbet Type CA wheels, 215/50 Summer Tires... 16" OE steel, 215/55 Snow Tires
I was looking at the ceramic Wagners at Autozone as well.

And this is what they look like...I went with these Rotors as well. They didn't fit on the rear hubs right. Had to grind a few metal tabs down off the rear Parking Brake assembly. I went with the Ultimax pads though... I see you went with the Green Stuff pads... I wish I would have gone this was, or at least a slightly better pad. The braking is great but I get an occasional squeal (Yeah, I used the shims too). I may just replace the pads for better ones. The black on the hub area got all discolored over the Winter from road salts and chemicals. They are very nice though.

Those have a $15 rebate per set until 5/31 so if someone wants them better purchase soon. linkPicked up a set of ThermoQuiets for my Hyundai to put on when the time comes. I bought now so I could get the rebate (going to run me $45 for front and rear pads after rebate.) I thought they'd be ceramic but on the box mine say organic. *shrug* I read somewhere that they're matched to the OEM pads so I guess that's why. Not a deal breaker though. The Vibe needs front brakes too, but I maxed out the rebate qualifications on the Wagners. I found a set of cheap Monroe Dynamics pads there which also have a rebate ($15 after the rebate.) Don't know much about them but they look like a decent pad and actually came with some hardware that wasn't included with my more expensive ones (the little clippy things.) I think they will be sufficient for non-spirited driving. For $15 it's worth a shot.
