04 Vibe.So one day all of this craps out at the same time.coincidently after a trailer hitch install.items not working.- Rear wiper- Rear Hatch Door Lock- Rear Driver side power door lock- Recirculating vent button- rear defrost.i suspected the trailer hitch tech fried something.b cuz all this happened around the time we had the hitch installed w/ electric brake controller (7pin connector).argued and accussed them of frying something. he said he would look at it, but if they find out its not their fault, they were going to charge me labour. $300+any ideas what is wrong?

They also share a common ground point, that is also used for the hatch door ajar switches. If you open the rear hatch does the door ajar light come on?The rear drivers side door lock is an odd one. Looks like the rear door locks, left and right side, and the main hatch lock all get power and ground from the same places, so if one of those works and one of those doesn't, then that would indicate some sort of wiring issue, such as a broken wire, unplugged connector, etc. There's a couple of other power source things that may affect all those circuits, but, for example, if the Gauge fuse was blown, then you'd likely have more things wrong (and wouldn't explain why some door locks work and others don't) Still can't see how the recirc ties in to any of the other things without affecting lots of other electrical things. It would be good to check all the fuses, the Gauge and RR Wiper fuses in the under dash fuse blockIt is difficult to say that the hitch wiring install caused the problems without knowing how they did the install, exactly what did they wire in, which wires did they connect to, where did they connect to those wires, what body trim pieces did they have to remove and re-install, etc. Now, if you know for sure that all that stuff worked when you let them at your car and you know that it didn't as soon as you got it back from them, then you've got some pretty convincing circumstantial evidence that they caused the problem.
I would almost start by disconnecting 1 wire at a time from whatever it is that they added. Possibly a power wire connected to a ground or something odd happening? I'll be wiring in a hitch wire right away, but will have a seperate power wire coming from the battery, and will use a relay to provide the proper power.
