New Wheels and Tires Coming!

Post by Lavalash »

Woot! Finally order my new wheels and tires from TireRack. Should be here by the end of this week or the beginning of next week. I order Sport Edition CE wheels 17x7.5 with 35mm offset in bright satin with a machined lip. For tires, I went with General Exclaim UHPs in 225/45R17. I will get some before and after pics once they get here.

Congrats! Be sure to post pics. Sport Edition has some great looking affordable wheels. When the time comes I want the F7s that tire rack has.

Yeah, I had started out looking at OZ Wheels, but I quickly started to look at cheaper alternatives. The Sport Editions are lighter than the stockers, and I think they look cool. And at $99 each, its a pretty good bargain. With the money saved from getting a higher end wheel, I can buy some Tokico HPs to go with my lowering springs and the Progressive RSB I have been pining over. Might even have a little beer money left over, and that is a good thing :D Here is a link to the wheels I bought: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels...Brand

New wheels and tires installed. The wheels are just a little lighter than stock, and you can really feel it! Not to mention it just looks better. The tires also feel really good, like you are stuck to the road. Turn in is waaaayyy better than my old Kumho ASXs. We will have to wait and see how they do once they get worn in a little bit.
