Body kit question

Post by Meagan »

So far I have only found one place that sale body kits for my 04 vibe. And the was andyauto sports.com. My question is what other websites are there and have any of you every put a duraflez body kit on your vibe? And I want to lower my car atleast 1in. So I wanted to know if I could get away with lowering it 1 inch with this body kit or would I not need to? Because I an also getting 17's to go on here as well. The duraflex body kit I am looking at getting.Rims

Don't have much experience with body kits, but they really don't look right on a car if it isn't lowered some. Just remember that lowering can bring on loud scraping noises when turning into driveways and such. The other thing about lowering... you could end up with a less comfortable ride. If your roads are all relatively level, and fairly smooth, then you could get away with lowering your Vibe. Nice looking wheels!

Thanks the reason why I am thinking of going with the duruflex body kit is because of what andy's auto sports video shows about the body kit. here is the link. I am kind wowed by what they do to this body kit.http://www.andysautosport.com/...sions/

when that kit was designed they lowered the car 2". From the original pictures there was very little clearance between the bottom of the body kit and the ground. look around and see if you can find the SEMA 2005 photos, im pretty sure the vibe that the kit was originally made for was there and you can get an idea of how it will end up.
