Anyone know how to remove these or have any tricks to making things easier. I got the little bulb out, however i think there is only one screw, but how can i get that out? the space that i have to work with is only big enough to get my hand in. Any tips?
I had no luck on those yet. My plan was to back up onto ramps so I'd have more clearance to mess around and maybe take the back bumper off. That's the best I got
I know alot of ppl would be hesitant to do this, but i actually taped my off with painters tape today and sprayed them. I was able to get the tape back in far enough where it doesnt show anything. I don't even think it got the surface behind the light. I will post pics of what i did in a before and after topic here in a few days so you all can see it.
I thought about doing this exact process with VHT Night Shades paint, but thought the coats would go on too thick (being such a confined space, and having to spray directly into the recessed setting). I didn't know if doing a quick pass would get enough paint on the entire surface with the first couple coats. I know this doesn't help with the bulb issue, but seems somewhat related to the alternative ways people are trying to work on these lights.Watch, mine will go out tomorrow.
